Campsite Zur schönen Aussicht

Our campsite has been in existence for over 60 years. It is one of the smallest in the region with its size of just one hectare and only 50 pitches. The site offers permanent campers and holidaymakers spacious, natural pitches directly on Lake Ratzeburg. The individual plots, separated by bushes and trees, are located in two rows along the eastern shore of Lake Ratzeburg on the historically significant Schwalken peninsula to the northwest of Ratzeburg Cathedral.

Thanks to its location in the middle of the Lauenburg Lakes Nature Park, you can enjoy nature to the full here. Away from the hustle and bustle of the towns between the forest and water, you can watch impressive sunsets over Lake Ratzeburg. Despite the seclusion, you can walk to the shops in just 30-40 minutes, while it only takes a few minutes by car.

Our pitches are generally between 90 and over 300 square meters in size and all have electricity and water connections, many also have a grey water connection.

The campsite has a jetty with moorings for sailing and fishing boats. Our campsite is just right if you like a more family atmosphere, prefer gentle tourism and don't want to get lost in a large, overcrowded mass facility. That's why our motto is: You don't have to fill every square centimeter.

There are only a few pitches available for vacationers and these must be booked in advance online via our website. Unfortunately, spontaneous arrival is not possible. We have also not had a tent pitch for several years, which means that we can no longer accommodate groups.
