Around Salemer See and Pipersee

Varied natural landscapes and wonderful views of glistening lakes: this hike takes you into the realm of white-tailed eagles and kingfishers, which can often be seen here. For the most part, the trail follows the lakeshore (partly via the campsite), then leads south of the two lakes through a forest and along fields and meadows. Starting from the Pipersee and passing the Pfuhlsee, it is possible to take a detour to the Seedorfer Werder, where you can experience the unique Schaalsee landscape. There are places to stop for refreshments, a farm store with regional products and a bathing area in the pretty village of Salem.
