Ratzeburger Segelverein e. V.

One of the most beautiful watersport facilities in the Herzogtum Lauenburg district, the Ratzeburg Sailing Club (Ratzeburger Segler-Verein e.V.) has brought together over 300 members since 1929 in an active club life centered around sailing on Ratzeburg Lake and the Domsee.

Behind the cathedral lies the club grounds, including the clubhouse and the East Harbor, which offers 50 water berths. The West Harbor, located on the western shore of the cathedral island, provides another 36 berths, giving boats a quick start onto Ratzeburg Lake. In addition, there are 21 land berths, with boats launched using the club’s own crane. Four motorboats support both open and club regattas. Dedicated volunteers and well-trained instructors guide the club’s intensive youth program.

New members, beginners, and sailing enthusiasts — with or without their own boats — are warmly welcome. Come visit us!
