The valley landscape is defined by a flat, long, narrow valley floor, which is crossed from east to west by the one meter wide Pirschbach stream.
Popular theme trail
The Pirschbachtal is a valley floor, a former tongue of meltwater from the Third Ice Age with a connection to the Stecknitz Valley - today the Elbe-Lübeck Canal - and the Einhäuser-Fredeburger-Trockental as far as Lake Ratzeburg. The length of the valley floor is approx. 1.7 km and the greatest width is approx. 0.65 km. The 345-hectare area on the outskirts of Mölln is now once again a habitat for rare plants and animals.
