Relaxed exercise in the varied natural surroundings, guaranteed fun right from the start and social interaction make this sport a great experience for families and groups. The sport is suitable for all generations, is suitable for both recreational and competitive sports and can even be played almost all year round . Mölln offers the opportunity to set up a very interesting course for players that meets the requirements of both professional players and beginners. The topographical location of the end moraine landscape of the Duchy of Lauenburg in Schleswig-Holstein with its extensive forest areas offers ideal conditions for an interesting disc golf course.
The course can be used free of charge. Discs can be hired from the Mölln Tourist Information Office (Am Markt 12) for a small rental fee.
The rental fee for a bag with 2 discs, ballpoint pen and scorecard is €5.00 per day - each additional disc can be rented for €2.50. A deposit of 20 euros will be charged. If a disc is lost, it must be replaced.
Rules and instructions for using the facility in Mölln
Throw-off / order of play:
You start from the throw-off. Play continues from exactly where your own throw landed. The thrower with the furthest distance to the basket may throw again first. The player who needed the fewest throws on the previous lane starts on the next lane.
Counting method:
After hitting the basket, the required throws are recorded. The winner is the player who has needed the fewest throws for the nine lanes.
Safety:
Before throwing, make sure that nobody and nothing will cross the trajectory of the disk. Throws may only be made when the lane is clear. For safety reasons, all other players must always stay behind the thrower.
Consideration:
When playing, consideration must be given to all people, animals, plants and facilities. Garbage must be removed immediately.
Play:
Playing is permitted from 09:00 until the onset of darkness, but no later than 22:00. Playing is at your own risk.

Der Frisbee-Sport macht auch mit Kindern ganz besonders viel Spaß, ob als Programmpunkt beim Kindergeburtstag oder als Freizeitbeschäftigung im Urlaub. Hierzu erreichte die Tourist-Information ein Blog-Artikel im Mölln-Blog. Erfahrungsbericht, den wir unseren Lesern nicht vorenthalten möchten.
"Als Mutter freue ich mich immer wieder über neue Ideen für die Freizeitgestaltung an der frischen Luft. Besonders wenn das Kind ein Alter erreicht, in dem es zunehmend langweilig wird, Enten zu füttern oder spannende Sachen im Wald zu suchen- da muss was Neues her! Wenn dann auch noch ein 10. Geburtstag im April (macht was er will) naht, ist guter Rat teuer. Warum also nicht mal Discgolfen mit den Kids? Ausgerüstet mit zwei Taschen, Score Cards und Scheiben aus der Touristinfo zogen wir also zur Feldbäckerei, die Spielregeln waren schnell erklärt. Wir bildeten zwei Gruppen und schon ging’s los.
Nach anfänglicher Skepsis entspannten sich auch die Mädchen, die von sich behaupteten „ ich kann aber nicht werfen“. Da die Regeln besagen, dass immer der Werfer beginnt, der am weitesten vom Ziel entfernt ist, wurden alle Kinder „ mitgenommen“ und keiner hatte das Gefühl, hinterher zu hängen. Der Parcours führt teilweise auch abseits der Wege, (was ihn natürlich spannend macht) festes Schuhwerk ist dabei unbedingt empfehlenswert. Viel Spaß ist garantiert, vor allem, wenn die Discs einen Abhang hinuntersegeln oder aus misslichen Lagen befreit werden müssen. Auch das „ Einlochen“ in den Korb war bei zwei Gruppen immer mit Spannung verbunden. Wir haben mit 6 Mädchen ca. 1- 1,5 Stunden gebraucht, je nach Alter lässt sich der Parcours natürlich auch verkürzen. Empfehlenswert ist die Begleitung von 1-2 Erwachsenen, die als Schriftführer die Würfe mitzählen (in der Aufregung wird das gern mal vergessen) die Score Cards ausfüllen und den Überblick behalten.
Die Tour endet wieder an der Feldbäckerei, deshalb ist ein kleiner Abstecher zum Kiosk am Wildpark zur Auswertung, Siegerehrung und einem abschließenden Eis bestens geeignet. Viel Spaß, Spiel und Bewegung ist garantiert, auch bestens geeignet für Familien mit Kindern unterschiedlichen Alters.
Fazit: Disc-Golfen mit Kids – unbedingt mal machen!"
