  • 1802

    Heinrich Maas marries Dorothea Fiedler. They take over the business from Dorothea's parents.

  • 1845

    Their daughter Anna marries Franz Heinrich Hamester. Together, they lay the foundation for Hamester.

  • before 1911

    Small shop and dining room. Heinrich Hamester took over as the second generation, and the north wing was added. It was converted into a grocery store (Edeka) including a dining room. Heinrich Hamester took over as the third generation.

  • 1948

    The conversion from an agricultural hall to a banquet hall took place under the fourth generation, with Adolf and Dora Hamester.

  • 1963

    The hall is being expanded.

  • 1973

    The hall is expanded once again, and the Garden Hall is created.

  • until 1988

    In the following period, the Edeka shop underwent a major expansion and extension to 180 m² of retail space (with a fresh meat counter), and the hall was used for extensive celebrations and dancing at disco evenings.

  • 1988

    Bernd and Brigitte Hamester take over the business (until 2001). During this time, the hall is extensively renovated and used exclusively for celebrations.

  • Dezember 2000

    The Edeka shop is closing down.

  • 2003

    Nadine and Matthias Hamester marry and the salon opens. The nearby Hotel Pirschmühle is leased.

  • October 2022

    The new hotel building with 25 double rooms is officially opened. This marks the fulfilment of a long-cherished dream.
