Gasthof Basedau

 Tradition that tastes good

 Family business since 1870

 Gasthof Basedau –
Celebrate parties where tradition is at home

The Basedau Inn in Lütau has been family-owned since 1870 – now in its fifth generation. Christian Awe and his wife are ready to take over the business in its sixth generation. What once began as a farm with a liquor licence was developed by his parents with great dedication into today's inn with a banquet hall and bowling alley.

Today, the inn is all about celebrations, good food and a family atmosphere. Whether weddings, birthdays or club parties – events are at the heart of the business. The home-style cooking is just as popular as the personal commitment of the whole family. Everyone pitches in – even Grandma still stands in the kitchen peeling potatoes.

Its popularity speaks for itself: if you want to eat or celebrate here, it's best to book in advance. Gasthof Basedau is a place where tradition and hospitality come together quite naturally.

Credo: Recognise change, go with it and adapt
