If you want to stay overnight, pitch your tent on the meadow surrounded by willows - motorhomes and caravans are not permitted here. Instead, there is plenty of space for those who want to spend the night close to nature. For more comfort, there are cozy snooze barrels and a romantic shepherd's wagon - glamping with a special charm.

Even if the weather doesn't play ball, the Wakenitz-Camp is the perfect retreat: the large giant kite protects you from the rain and invites you to relax. Directly adjacent is the Wakenitzhaus, which offers accommodation for groups of ten or more. There is also a small kiosk here with hot coffee, fresh cake, cool drinks and delicious ice cream - perfect for a short break in between.

If you want to indulge in culinary delights, the Fährhaus Rothenhusen is just 200 meters away. The restaurant spoils guests with regional specialties and a fantastic view over Lake Ratzeburg - the perfect place to end the day in comfort.
