This event introduces the WandelGut and the people who live and work there. Community members share insights from their daily lives, projects, values, and the transformations being shaped at this place. Participants will gain an understanding of sociocracy as an organizational form, solidarity-based agriculture, the Tante Wandel shopping cooperative, communal work, permaculture, and much more.
The event includes a guided walk with plenty of information and opportunities for discussion. The route passes the WandelGut’s stations around Mechower See. At each stop, participants will learn about the current methods, goals, and challenges of the different work and living areas.
Start: 12:00 pm at Gut Mechow
After an introduction to the community, the guided walk begins.
Route: Approx. 9 kilometers around Mechower See
Key project locations in Schlagbrügge and Wietingsbek will be explored in detail.
The day concludes with a communal picnic and time for questions back at Mechow.
