On Easter Saturday, 4 April 2026 from 17:00, the Ratzeburg Easter bonfire for young and old awaits all interested parties at the picturesque Küchensee, which is now being organized for the fourth time by the city of Ratzeburg and various Ratzeburg associations and volunteers. Visitors can enjoy a cozy bonfire on the meadow in the Kurpark, from the Aqua Siwa bathing area to Theaterplatz. The fire department and youth fire department, the DLRG, the THW, Round Table 126 Ratzeburg, the canoe club, the Rotary Club Ratzeburg-Alte Salzstraße and the Ratzeburg marching band will be taking part.
Food and drink will be available: chips, bratwurst, waffles, crêpes and drinks. Depending on the weather, there will also be soup and hot punch. Children can bake stick bread over a small fire bowl, while the Ratzeburg marching band provides musical entertainment. The evening draws to a close at around 9 pm so that the Ratzeburg Easter Bunny is not disturbed...
