The Groß Zecher campsite is located directly on the shores of Lake Schaalsee in the Lauenburg Lakes Nature Park

 Countless bays, peninsulas and the "Schaalsee Biosphere Reserve" make a visit a unique natural experience. The lake covers an area of 24 km² and is 72 m deep. An ideal spot for anglers. Fishing licenses and rowing boats are available from the groundsman.
